Born in Appalachia to immigrant parents from Romania and Mexico,
Alex Cruz credits his musical instincts originating from somewhere
down his ancestral bloodline. The descendent of nomadic Romani and
indigenous Huastec cultures showcases top-tier songwriting,
production, and musicianship through his genre-bending fusion
of psychedelic indie pop, rock, electronic, and acoustic
instrumentation over hip-hop-inspired beats.
